Wm Hocker | Wild West

The Metal Toy Soldiers of

  Wm. Hocker, Proprietor

In this magnificent offering we recount an epic event which some consider greatly assisted in the reparation of British and American relations in the Victorian Age: the visit of Buffalo Bill's Wild West to Earl's Court, London, May 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. We present most of the various elements of the performance: the grand entrance, an indian encampment and ceremonial dance, attack on the Deadwood stage, a buffalo hunt, Annie Oakley, cowboy, indian and vaquero horsemanship, an attack on a settler's cabin and the presentation of colors to the Queen.
